As part of PayPal’s technology team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizingnative applications to ensure high availability, scalability, and security. The role spans from architecture design to code implementation, working closely with cross-functional and cross-geographic teams to drive technical innovation and the ongoing evolution of the applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand the Android core and provide solution and design

• Drive innovation and technical excellence in Android mobile development.

• Lead complex mobile projects and teams.

• Collaborate with product leadership to define mobile product strategy.

• Mentor and develop high-performing engineering teams.

• Architect and implement scalable mobile solutions and Champion technical excellence and best practices.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging mobile technologies.

What do you need to bring-

Essential Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in mobile app development.

• Expert proficiency in Kotlin/Java (Android).

• Strong object-oriented skills including design, coding and testing patterns.

• Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL databases) and ORM frameworks (Hibernate, JPA).

• Ability to design scalable, reliable, and maintainable software systems.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Desirable Skills:

• Hybrid/webexperience will be a big plus.

• Front end Architecture/Performance Tuning/Safety Optimization will be a big plus.

• Innovative, passionate, and teamworking. Start-up spirited.
