Job summary

Aiden Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and evolve AidenBot, the core automation engine behind our Windows endpoint management platform, using C#, WPF, and .NET.

You will participate in architectural decisions, translate product needs into maintainable solutions, and contribute directly to design, implementation, testing, troubleshooting, and release readiness.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience in C#, WPF, and .NET.
• Direct experience building Windows deployment or Windows software.
• Hands-on networking: DHCP, PXE, proxies, CDNs.
• Strong OO design, APIs, data access, and async processing.
• Ability to take complex features from ambiguous requirements to production.
• Experience diagnosing issues with logs, metrics, and profilers.
• Proven testing mindset: unit/integration tests, code reviews, CI/CD.
• Relational databases and SQL knowledge for data access.
• Clear communication to engineers and non-engineers; Agile/Scrum with Azure DevOps or GitHub.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building, testing, and maintaining production software for AidenBot using C#, WPF, and .NET, focusing on reliability, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Technical design and architecture contributions, including evaluating tradeoffs, defining interfaces, documenting decisions, and evolving the platform.
• End-to-end delivery of product capabilities from estimation to implementation, reviews, testing, deployment, and post-release learning.
• Diagnose and resolve complex defects across application code, services, integrations, and Windows environments.
• Maintain engineering quality through clean code, reviews, tests, observability, secure practices, and release discipline.
• Mentor teammates, share context, review designs, pair on difficult problems, and help engineers make sound decisions.
• Utilize AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate delivery while preserving security and quality.
