Blue Origin in Renton, WA is seeking a senior software engineer to build full‑stack applications for Manufacturing Engineers, with AI-powered features and scalable workflows.

You will deploy on AWS, use Kubernetes, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to turn real‑world manufacturing needs into production tools. This onsite role includes relocation support and opportunities to contribute to spaceflight programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering with ownership of production software.
• Strong front-end skills (React, TypeScript) and backend/API (Python) experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack web apps used by Manufacturing Engineers.
• Modernize existing tools, reduce technical debt, and harden systems.
• Develop AI/LLM-powered features handling manufacturing and work-order data.
• Deploy services on AWS and container platforms (Kubernetes) with CI/CD.
• Spend time with engineers to learn workflows and translate into tools.
• Use data to validate impact and guide future development.
