Job summary

Foureyes is hiring a Sr. Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain our cloud-based platform. You will work across multiple stacks, collaborate with product and engineering, and contribute to scalable RESTful APIs and event-driven services.

This remote, US-based role emphasizes AI-assisted development and high-quality software delivery. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in full-stack development (NodeJS, React, Python, or Java), strong AWS experience, and a passion for observability,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with one or more modern programming languages and frameworks such as Python, Java, React, or TypeScript.
• Experience building cloud-native applications on AWS using services such as Lambda, S3, RDS, or similar.
• Experience with SQL, relational databases, Git-based development workflows, and infrastructure as code using AWS CDK, Terraform, or similar tools.
• Experience monitoring and troubleshooting production systems using observability platforms such as Datadog, Amazon CloudWatch, or similar tools.
• Enthusiasm for AI-assisted software development and an interest in using tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar to improve engineering productivity.
• Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or Amazon Bedrock Agents, is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to quickly learn new technologies while contributing across multiple products and codebases.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, monitor, and support software across multiple products, moving comfortably between diverse technology stacks as business needs evolve.
• Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, including technical design, implementation, testing, code review, deployment, and production support.
• Partner with product managers and engineers to deliver new capabilities, resolve production issues, and continuously improve our systems.
• Write clean, maintainable code, automated tests, and technical documentation.
• Design and evolve RESTful APIs and event-driven services with a focus on scalability, security, reliability, and developer experience.
• Build resilient distributed systems that prioritize performance, fault tolerance, and maintainability.
• Thoroughly test your own code and review and test code written by fellow engineers to ensure end-to-end quality.
