Job summary

Re:Build Manufacturing in Seattle is seeking a product-focused full-stack engineer to join a team building artificially intelligent power-user applications in the CAD/CAM space. You will work with the entire stack, crafting intuitive user experiences and robust backend services that impact real users.

This role requires 5+ years of software experience, strong TypeScript and React skills, and API design expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in CS and 5+ years in industry or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and familiarity with runtimes and build tools.
• Experience building full-stack TypeScript projects, services, and SDKs that scale.
• Frontend framework experience (React preferred; also Vue/Svelte/Angular).
• Backend APIs in TypeScript/Python/Go/C# or equivalent; strong API design (REST/RPC/GraphQL).
• Strong CS fundamentals: networking, web tech, distributed systems, OOP, functional programming.

Responsibilities

• Work across the full stack to deliver intuitive user experiences and robust backend services.
• Engage in platform engineering, MLOps, and performance-critical code.
• Take ownership of major product areas and drive features end-to-end.
• Set and elevate code standards and team-wide practices for quality.
• Engage in thoughtful peer reviews and technical reasoning to establish standards.
• Grow into a domain expert and lead broader technical initiatives.
• Ship fast in an early-stage environment and learn from user testing.
