CEdge Inc is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – AI Native Engineering to lead the transition to AI-native workflows in a production environment. You will architect agentic systems, build scalable AWS services, and mentor teams in AI-enabled development practices.

You will apply hands-on coding across large-scale backends, ensure observability, and push for rapid, reliable delivery using modern tooling and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in enterprise-grade production software engineering.
• Hands-on coding in production codebases within the last 6 months.
• Daily, expert-level use of AI-assisted development tools.
• Architected and delivered at least one agentic/LLM-powered system to production.

Position Overview

We are seeking a battle-hardened SeniorSoftware Engineer to lead the transition from traditional software developmentto AI-Native Engineering. This is a high-impact, production-focused role. Thisis not a research position, nor is it a playground for prototypes; you will beresponsible for architecting, shipping, and maintaining the agentic workflowsand developer enablement platforms that define our core engineering future.

The ideal candidate views LLMs as afundamental compute primitive. You are someone who has moved beyond"prompting" and into building robust, autonomous systems. Your dailydrivers include GitHub Copilot and Claude Code CLI, and you have a proven trackrecord of shipping complex backend systems at scale on AWS.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecting Agentic Systems: Design anddeploy production-grade agentic workflows that orchestrate multi-step tasks,utilizing LLMs for reasoning and autonomous execution.


• Modern Cloud-Native Backend: Build and scaledistributed systems on AWS, ensuring high availability, performance, andsecurity for all AI-integrated services.


• AI-Assisted Velocity: Champion AI-nativedevelopment workflows, maintaining an elite delivery pace through the expertuse of AI coding assistants and mentoring the broader team on thesemethodologies.


• Developer Enablement Platforms: Build internaltools and extend Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to allow product teams tointegrate AI capabilities seamlessly and safely.


• LLM Observability & Governance: Implementcomprehensive monitoring (latency, cost, token usage) and rigorous evaluationframeworks to mitigate hallucinations and ensure reliability.

Must-Have Requirements

• Senior Experience: 8+ years of professionalsoftware engineering experience in enterprise-grade production environments.


• Active IC Coding: You must be a hands-onbuilder with significant code contributions in a production codebase within thelast 6 months.


• AI Tooling Mastery: Daily, expert-level use ofGitHub Copilot, Claude Code CLI, or similar AI-assisted development tools.


• Shipped AI Systems: You have personallyarchitected and delivered at least one agentic or LLM-powered system toproduction that handled real-world traffic.


• AWS Depth: Expert knowledge of the AWSecosystem, specifically Bedrock, Lambda, ECS/EKS, DynamoDB, and IAM.
