Job summary

CareSource is seeking a Software Engineer III to lead design, development, and deployment of complex software systems. You will mentor engineers, drive architecture decisions, and advance AI-enabled practices across teams.

The role emphasizes scalable, reliable platforms, SDLC, and CI/CD, with collaboration across developers, analysts, and infrastructure. Experience in multi-tier applications and cloud AI is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field required.
• Five years of software development/engineering experience required.
• Advanced experience with OOP, system design, and application development.
• Experience with multi-tier or enterprise-level applications preferred.
• AI-enabled engineering practices and CI/CD familiarity.
• AI/ML or cloud AI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and architecture for scalable, reliable systems.
• Lead adoption of AI-enabled engineering practices within the team.
• Design and implement AI-enabled solutions including orchestration and integrations.
• Engineer AI solutions for quality, observability, security, and cost/performance.
• Translate business requirements into effective system solutions.
• Provide advanced support and troubleshooting for applications and infrastructure.
• Oversee performance testing, debugging, and optimization.
• Perform code reviews and enforce coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across departments.
• Support incident management and timely resolutions.
• Apply SDLC, Agile, and CI/CD practices to deliver quality solutions.
• Mentor less experienced team members as needed.
• Adopt agentic AI development tools to accelerate delivery.
