Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
• Hands-on experience with enterprise AI-assisted development tools and ability to evaluate AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and secure handling of inputs/outputs
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Experience with Hibernate and Spring JPA, AWS Postgres, and building scalable services across multiple regions
• Experience building scalable REST APIs and knowledge of GraphQL
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security practices

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions with design, development, and troubleshooting across complex problems
• Produces secure, high-quality production code and maintains relevant algorithms
• Uses enterprise AI-assisted tools to improve code quality, speed, and productivity with peer review and automated testing
• Applies SDLC tools to improve value realized by automation
• Delivers architecture and design artifacts while ensuring code meets constraints
• Gathers and analyzes large datasets to visualize and improve software systems
• Identifies data patterns to drive improvements in coding hygiene and architecture
