Merge Labs in San Francisco is hiring backend and full‑stack engineers to join our two SF‑based teams. We are seeking senior+ candidates with strong scope for impact, roadmapping, and high‑quality production code.

Ideal engineers have 5–7+ years, Python and Go expertise, PostgreSQL experience, and front-end skills in React and TypeScript. We offer a generous compensation package with equity and a fast-paced, startup environment.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of software engineering experience (senior+).
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous challenges.
• Startup or SaaS experience preferred.
• Experience with Python and Go; PostgreSQL or SQL databases.
• Full-stack candidates should have React and TypeScript experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in roadmapping and architecture discussions.
• Produce high-quality, production-ready, readable, maintainable code.
• Lead large projects from inception to production.
• Unblock and support your team including engineers, designers, product managers, and business operators.
