Merge API Inc. is seeking backend and full stack engineers to join our Engineering teams in New York. The ideal candidates will have 3-7+ years of software engineering experience and be comfortable working on a variety of technical challenges.

In this role, you will engage in architecture discussions, produce maintainable code, and lead significant projects to assist in building a top-tier developer experience with Merge’s products. Compensation for this role ranges from $170,000 to $220,000, accompanied by equity compensation and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• 3-7+ years of full-time software engineering experience.
• Experience with frameworks like Django, Rails, or React.
• Extensive knowledge of SQL databases, preferably Postgres.

Responsibilities

• Participate in roadmapping and architecture discussions.
• Produce high-quality, production-ready, maintainable code.
• Lead large projects from inception to production.
