Job summary

Phreesia, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer 4 for a remote role distributed across EST or CST time zones, with occasional travel for events.

You will design, build, and scale distributed platforms powering patient experiences, mentor engineers, and champion modern engineering practices with AI-assisted development. You will lead technical design, drive reliability, and collaborate with architects, product managers, and operations to deliver secure, scalable software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of scalable software solutions across the lifecycle.
• Utilize AI-assisted engineering tools to improve efficiency and quality.
• Review and validate AI-assisted outputs for architecture, security, and compliance.
• Participate in design reviews, architecture discussions, and code reviews.
• Mentor engineers on best practices and modern development workflows.
• Own production systems and push for reliability and observability.
