Job summary

Proscia, based in Philadelphia, is transforming pathology with AI-powered software and digital imaging. As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll help build the platform powering research and clinical workflows, spanning scalable backend services, APIs, modern web applications, and cloud-native infrastructure.

You’ll work with TypeScript, Node.js/Deno, PostgreSQL, and Vue, contribute to automated testing, and collaborate in an Agile environment to deliver reliable, observable software that advances

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering on production-grade apps.
• Strong TypeScript and Node.js/Deno experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and service-oriented apps.
• Experience with Vue.js or similar frontend frameworks (React/Angular).
• Familiarity with distributed systems, microservices, API-driven architectures.
• Experience with PostgreSQL in production, ORM usage, and SQL optimization.
• Strong automated testing using Vitest or Playwright.
• Experience deploying cloud-native apps on AWS or Azure.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and modern software practices.
• Familiarity with Git workflows and Agile/Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable platform services.
