Job summary

Charta Health, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build scalable AI‑driven healthcare software. You’ll influence priorities, shape the product roadmap, and craft customer‑centric features while maintaining robust systems.

The role requires 4+ years of production software experience, fluency in Python/Node.js/Java/C++, and familiarity with microservices and distributed systems. AWS, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Kubernetes experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 4 years of professional software development experience.
• Fluent in backend languages (Python, Node.js, Java, C/C++).
• Experience with microservices, distributed systems, and performance tuning.
• Experience in AWS, PostgreSQL, Docker and ECS/Kubernetes is a plus.
• Strong communication skills across engineering and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Define team objectives and priorities from product roadmap.
• Contribute from ideation through development and deployment.
• Lead product discovery and refinement sessions.
• Analyze problems, craft scalable architectures and solutions.
• Deliver high‑quality code with documentation and smooth deployments.
