Job summary

KellyMitchell is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the SRE team in Fort Worth, TX on a 6-month contract-to-hire basis. The role is hybrid with onsite work 3 days per week.

The candidate will design full-stack applications using Java Spring on the backend and Angular/React on the frontend, develop AI agents, and implement resiliency patterns rolled out to other applications. You will troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with onshore and offshore teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• 5+ years of production experience designing and implementing large-scale solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Java/Spring or Spring Boot.
• Hands-on frontend development with Angular or React.
• Experience building with AI or AI tools in development.
• Ability to learn unfamiliar code bases quickly.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java/Spring Boot.
• Develop frontend features with Angular or React.
• Develop and enhance in-house AI agents.
• Implement resiliency patterns and code rewrites for broader rollout.
• Learn architecture and code of supported applications.
• Resolve alerts and incidents using telemetry and observability tools.
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams.
