Job summary

Broadridge is hiring a Sr. Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement solutions across applications and infrastructure. You will code, test, and optimize in a fast, Agile environment while adhering to security and architectural standards.

The role requires strong hands-on experience with Java, Python, Kafka, APIs, and RDBMS, plus a track record in delivering high-quality software on schedule. Compensation targets range around six figures with bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

5-8+ years of experience with software architectures at software and infrastructure level.
Familiar with Application Development Life Cycle, Agile Development, and design patterns.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication for cross-team collaboration.
Willingness to embrace change and support business strategy and vision.

Responsibilities

Delivers high quality software on time following Broadridge SDLC and Agile processes.
Hands-on coding in Java, Python, Kafka, API, and RDBMS.
Leverages AI in the SDLC and collaborates across teams on full-stack solutions.
Builds and maintains CI/CD pipelines across environments.
Ensures security Best practices and Broadridge standards are followed.
Translates business requirements into technical designs and estimates work.
Mentors junior associates and guides peers through processes.
