Job summary

Chatham Financial is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Technology Engagements team. You will build production software across the full stack, from database to UI, and deliver AI-enabled solutions for clients and internal use.

You will write Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React, design robust APIs, and work with LLM-powered tooling every day in a fast-paced, collaborative environment at a 30+ year firm.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong full-stack capabilities with Python and React.
• Hands-on experience with LLM-powered development.
• Experience building and consuming APIs and system integrations.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Solid knowledge of relational databases and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Develop full-stack web applications from database to UI.
• Design APIs, services, and integrations across systems.
• Build and ship LLM-powered applications and tooling.
• Collaborate with AI Solutions Engineers and leadership.
• Own features end-to-end from architecture to deployment.
• Operate in a fast-moving team with ownership and impact.
