Job summary

Chatham Financial is seeking a Data Engineer to build and evolve scalable data platforms, enabling AI-first analytics for clients and internal use. You will design data models, pipelines and analytics across a modern data stack using Python, .NET, Snowflake and Cube Core.

You will partner with analysts, data scientists and other engineers to deliver reliable data solutions, review platform components, and drive improvements with a strong emphasis on data quality and performance.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science/IT/Statistics/Mathematics or MIS.
• Advanced SQL querying and scripting.
• Strong Python programming and OOP knowledge.
• Experience with data platforms (Snowflake) and dbt or similar.
• Familiarity with data warehousing and modelling practices.
• Experience with cloud (Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data models, pipelines, transformations, and analytics across the data platform (Python, .NET, Snowflake, Cube Core).
• Pair with teams to enhance analytical services for critical use cases.
• Review Cloud Data Platform components and support improvement plans.
• Contribute to data modelling to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Review data warehouse integration and alignment with business requirements.
• Collaborate with analysts/scientists to support complex analytics solutions.
• Identify and resolve data-related issues with the team.
