Job summary

Compass is seeking a Senior Engineer within the Developer Intelligence pillar to maximize localized engineering velocity. This role involves implementing technical solutions centered on AI-assisted workflows, developer telemetry, and observability instrumentation.

With a focus on system efficiency and automation, you will work closely with the team to analyze developer workflows and improve engineering productivity across the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have strong Go and Python skills, with proficiency in data pipelines and cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with complex technical components.
• Experience embedding AI models or automated orchestration tools into workflows.
• Practical experience with large-scale observability infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and implement technical solutions for Developer Intelligence systems.
• Analyze developer workflows and SDLC feedback loops for efficiency.
• Build and maintain systems that collect and operationalize data from CI/CD pipelines.
