Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Backend development with Python, Go, or similar; API design experience.
• Experience building or working with distributed systems.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern deployment practices (containers, orchestration, CI/CD).
• Ability to reason about performance, reliability, and scalability in real-world systems.
• Product and customer mindset; clear communicator and collaborator.
• Mentoring and guiding other engineers are valued.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver major product and platform initiatives — design, build, and ship end-to-end features and systems powering Artemis’ detection, analytics, and customer experience.
• Build and scale distributed systems — ingest, process, and analyze large volumes of security telemetry with high reliability and performance.
• Contribute across the stack — backend services, APIs, data infrastructure, or user-facing applications as needed.
• Make architectural decisions — evaluate trade-offs and steer technical direction for scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Bring strong engineering judgment — balance speed and quality, know when to iterate and when to invest.
• Collaborate with product, design, security, and AI/ML teams to turn complex problems into reliable solutions.
• Leverage AI-native development practices to increase velocity and quality.
