Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group in Miami, FL seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise web apps using a modern .NET Core + React stack. You will lead architecture, code reviews, and SDLC governance while mentoring engineers and championing AI-assisted development across cloud platforms.

The role combines hands-on work with technical leadership, aligning with DevOps, automated testing, and safe, scalable software delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
5–7+ years of enterprise/web app development experience.
Strong background in C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Web API.
Experience with SQL Server and NoSQL options (Cosmos DB, DynamoDB, MongoDB).
Proficient in React/TypeScript and modern cloud deployments (Azure/AWS).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
Familiar with AI-assisted development tools and prompt engineering.
Effective cross-functional communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, and modernization of enterprise modules with C#/.NET Core and React/TypeScript.
Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and SDLC governance.
Mentor engineers and promote AI-assisted development practices.
Oversee CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments across Dev/Stage/Prod.
Collaborate with managers, PO, and architects on requirements and architecture.
Drive quality through automated testing and AI-enhanced test generation.
Identify security vulnerabilities and champion secure coding practices.
Contribute to architecture decisions and delivery planning.
