Job summary

Foureyes is a remote-first software company focused on the automotive vertical, hiring a Sr. Software Engineer to build and maintain cloud-based applications powering our platform.

You’ll collaborate with engineering and product teams across multiple tech stacks and embrace AI-assisted development to accelerate delivery and improve quality. The role requires curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to learn new technologies as the platform evolves.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with one or more modern programming languages and frameworks such as Python, Java, React, or TypeScript.
• Experience building cloud-native applications on AWS using services such as Lambda, S3, RDS, or similar.
• Experience with SQL, relational databases, Git-based development workflows, and infrastructure as code using AWS CDK, Terraform, or similar tools.
• Experience monitoring and troubleshooting production systems using observability platforms such as Datadog, CloudWatch, or similar tools.
• Enthusiasm for AI-assisted software development and interest in tools like Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar.
• Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or Amazon Bedrock Agents is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to quickly learn new technologies across multiple products.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, monitor, and support software across multiple products, moving between stacks as needed.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver new capabilities and resolve production issues.
• Write clean, maintainable code, automated tests, and technical documentation.
• Design and evolve RESTful APIs and event-driven services focused on scalability and reliability.
• Build resilient distributed systems prioritizing performance and maintainability.
• Thoroughly test your code and review others’ work to ensure end-to-end quality.
