Job summary

Quantiphi is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to design, develop, and deploy distributed applications powering AI-driven solutions. The role emphasizes Python (FastAPI) backend, ReactJS frontend, and PostgreSQL data management, hosted primarily on GCP with AWS exposure.

You will mentor peers, participate in architecture reviews, and work within agile teams to deliver enterprise-grade software across the SDLC. The position offers hybrid work arrangements in the US.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack or backend software development.
• Expert proficiency in Python, with extensive experience developing APIs using FastAPI.
• Strong experience with ReactJS for building modern user interfaces.
• Deep expertise in PostgreSQL, including design, optimization, and querying.
• Proven experience with unit testing frameworks such as Pytest and Vitest.
• Cloud experience on GCP (Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud SQL, Secret Manager); AWS a plus.
• Familiarity with SDLC, agile, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
• Experience with load testing and scalable, distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of scalable backend services using Python/FastAPI.
• Develop responsive frontend interfaces with ReactJS.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas and queries.
• Implement unit and integration tests with Pytest and Vitest.
• Participate in architectural decisions for cloud-native apps and multi-cloud patterns.
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot in GCP environments; exposure to AWS.
• Contribute to SDLC, requirements gathering, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with data scientists to integrate AI/ML models and analytics.
