Davis Unlimited Information Technologies, Inc (DUIT) is seeking a senior Software Engineer in Maryland. The role involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing diverse software systems for government contracts, with emphasis on complex analytics, real-time systems, and large datasets.

Qualifications

• Twenty (20) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• 10 years of Software Engineering Experience with Java SE, Python, Git, Shell/bash, Nexus, Maven, JavaScript/HTML5/CSS3, JUnit, and IDEs.
• 10 Years of Software Engineering with containers and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift) and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
• Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards.
• Oversee one or more software development teams and ensure work meets process constraints.
• Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met.
