Job summary

Google Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer III for AI and Infrastructure, focusing on gVisor. You will work on kernel and container infrastructure at scale, collaborating with teams across Kubernetes, cloud functions, and AI workloads.

You will contribute to security, performance, and reliability of sandboxed environments, and mentor junior engineers while advancing Google's hyperscale computing platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
• 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
• Experience with cloud compute platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Google Cloud Functions).
• Experience working with Linux Kernels internals.
