Job summary
McKinsey & Company is seeking a senior software leader to drive architectural decisions and set technical direction across complex client engagements. You will design scalable, production-ready AI-enabled systems, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver impactful software solutions.

Qualifications
- Undergraduate or master's degree; or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience developing full-stack applications
- Deep proficiency in at least two frontend or backend frameworks
- Design of complex, secure APIs including REST and GraphQL
- Proficiency across two cloud providers and CI/CD tooling
- Advanced proficiency in AI-assisted engineering and safe application of AI
Responsibilities
- Own architectural decisions and set technical direction for your workstream
- Ensure the team delivers scalable, production-ready solutions
- Work hands-on across the full stack and design robust systems
- Mentor client and internal teams to grow engineering craft
- Collaborate with designers, PMs, and industry experts to deliver software
