The Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Guides software engineer at Red Hat is responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining content on the AEM platform. As a key member of the Customer Content Services team, you will help migrate Red Hat's product documentation from a custom solution to AEM Guides, building a DITA‑based authoring and publishing environment to deliver AI‑ready content. You will work closely with technical writers, content strategists, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless content authoring and publishing experience.
As an individual contributor, your expertise in DITA architecture, custom AEM Guides components, and integration with core AEM features will empower technical writers to produce high‑quality content. You will also apply AI to streamline authoring, reduce repetitive tasks, and identify efficiencies in the CMS.
The salary range for this position is $116,270.00 – $191,840.00. Actual offer will be based on qualifications.
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors, including job location, experience, applicable skills, training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For remote‑US locations, the salary range may differ based on location but will remain commensurate with duties and experience.
