Job summary

Pacer Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior AEM Developer to design, develop, deploy, and support scalable Adobe Experience Manager solutions. You will work with architects, UX/UI designers, analysts, content authors, and engineers to deliver robust digital experiences.

The role emphasizes CI/CD, performance optimization, accessibility, security, and production support. The ideal candidate has strong AEM expertise across Sites, Assets, Forms, and Content Fragments, plus Headless/CaaS

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • 6+ years of software development with hands-on AEM experience.
  • Strong experience with AEM Sites, Assets, Forms, and Content Fragments.
  • Experience with Cloud Service, CaaS, and Headless architecture.
  • Java development with REST APIs, Maven, Git, CI/CD.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Adobe Cloud Manager, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
  • Knowledge of AEM Dispatcher, CDN, caching, MSM and i18n.
  • Familiarity with SonarQube, code reviews, and automated builds.
  • Agile/Scrum development experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop custom AEM components, templates, workflows, and apps using Sling, OSGi, HTL, and Content Fragment Models.
  • Develop AEM solutions with CaaS and Headless frameworks for modern experiences.
  • Build and integrate AEM applications following enterprise standards.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and integrate AEM with CRM, DAM, CDN, and analytics.
  • Ensure AEM Sites, Assets, Forms, and Content Fragments run across enterprise environments.
  • Create reusable AEM component libraries and design systems for consistency.
  • Collaborate with architects to design scalable, high-performing AEM solutions.
  • Define content models, taxonomies, metadata schemas, and content structures.
  • Optimize performance via Dispatcher, caching, CDN, and app-level improvements.
  • Build/maintain CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Manager, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
  • Implement code quality gates using SonarQube and peer reviews.
  • Manage deployments across DEV, QA, Stage, Prod environments.
  • Provide guidance in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement timely resolutions.
  • Monitor performance and drive ongoing optimizations.

SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Strong hands-on experience designing and developing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) components, templates, workflows, and custom applications.
  • Strong experience with AEM technologies including Sling, OSGi, HTL (Sightly), and Content Fragment Models.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AEM Developer to design, develop, deploy, and support scalable Adobe Experience Manager solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AEM Sites, Assets, Forms, Headless/CaaS development, custom components, integrations, and enterprise content management. This role will work closely with architects, UX/UI designers, business analysts, content authors, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences. The candidate should also have strong experience with CI/CD, performance optimization, accessibility, security, and production support.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design and develop custom AEM components, templates, workflows, and applications using Sling, OSGi, HTL (Sightly), and Content Fragment Models.
  • Develop AEM solutions using CaaS and Headless frameworks to support modern digital experiences.
  • Build custom AEM applications and integrations following Adobe best practices and enterprise development standards.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and integrate AEM with CRM, DAM, CDN analytics, and other third-party platforms.
  • Implement and support AEM Sites, Assets, Forms, and Content Fragments across enterprise environments.
  • Create reusable AEM component libraries and design systems to improve development efficiency and consistency.
  • Collaborate with solution and enterprise architects to design scalable, maintainable, and high-performing AEM solutions.
  • Define and manage content models, taxonomies, metadata schemas, and content structures.
  • Optimize AEM performance through Dispatcher configuration, caching strategies, CDN integration, and application-level improvements.
  • Implement and maintain AEM Multi Site Manager (MSM), multilingual content, and internationalization (i18n) capabilities.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Adobe Cloud Manager, Jenkins, and/or GitHub Actions.

  • Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and provide timely technical resolutions.
  • Monitor AEM application performance and implement ongoing optimizations.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 6+ years of experience in software development with significant hands-on experience developing and supporting Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions.
  • Strong experience with AEM Sites, Assets, Forms, Content Fragments, Sling, OSGi, HTL, and Content Fragment Models.
  • Experience with AEM Cloud Service, Adobe Cloud Manager, CaaS, and Headless architecture is highly preferred.
  • Strong Java development experience with REST APIs, Maven, Git, and enterprise application integrations.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Adobe Cloud Manager, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with SonarQube, code reviews, automated builds, and quality gates.
  • Strong understanding of AEM Dispatcher, CDN, caching, performance optimization, MSM, and i18n.
