Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is seeking a senior full-stack engineer to own end-to-end features on the Ad Experience team for TV platforms.

You will build fast, memory-conscious applications on a web-based runtime, collaborating across product, design and engineering to deliver scalable solutions. The role emphasizes performance, cross-site collaboration, and building reliable systems with a test-driven Agile mindset across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Typically requires 8+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s, or 6+ with a master’s, or 4+ with a PhD.
• Strong proficiency in Ruby, GraphQL, Golang and React.
• 2+ years backend experience with Golang; 2+ years frontend with JavaScript/React.
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ and other messaging systems.
• Experience building analytics features and performance-tuning.
• Experience with microservices and distributed architectures.
• Version control and front-end build tooling experience (Git, Webpack, npm).

Responsibilities

• Write efficient, clean, readable, fast, testable, documented code.
• Prototype and develop consumer-facing services displayed on millions of devices.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and UX designers to deliver a compelling product.
• Drive cross-site efforts to improve platform capabilities.
• Communicate ideas to distributed teams effectively.
• Contribute to a test-driven development / Agile approach.
• Work with geographically distributed teams; propose software design improvements.
