Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Senior Software Engineer:

• Lead complex software development initiatives, demonstrating active coding responsibilities within Python and FastAPI
• Leverage proficiency in Python and FastAPI
• Develop scalable and resilient applications using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Docker
• Adhere to software engineering principles and practices, including Agile methodologies, test-driven development (TDD), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
• Build and maintain large-scale systems, demonstrating the ability to handle projects of significant complexity and scale withing Python and FastAPI

Required Skills for Staff Software Engineer:

• 7+ years of proven experience in software engineering, with a significant portion in a startup environment
• Extensive experience in software development, with proficiency in Python and FastAPI, and ideally with GO, Rust, or Java
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Docker
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and practices, including Agile methodologies, test-driven development (TDD), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a knack for understanding and simplifying complex systems
