Job summary

Anduril Industries is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help build a new class of hardware engineering software. You’ll create an interactive workspace to review, challenge, and preserve design decisions, turning fragmented context into a coherent model.

You’ll join Forge, the team behind Anduril’s platform, collaborating across domain teams to enable scalable, domain-rich workflows. You’ll drive technical direction for interactive web experiences, 3D visualization, and geometry processing,

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and operating complex production software.
• Proficiency with TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Strong experience with API design, data modeling, and asynchronous processing.
• Experience building interactive apps involving 2D/3D data.
• Experience partnering with technical customers and translating workflows into software.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerized deployments, authentication, and observability.
• Export-controlled data access requires U.S. Person status.

Responsibilities

• Design the review, annotation, and revision workflow for CAD models in the browser.
• Set technical direction across the stack: web experiences, 3D visualization, rendering, and pipelines.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers and designers to translate feedback into software.
• Process large, complex CAD/geometry files reliably and efficiently.
• Define how the product plugs into Forge and extend platform patterns.
• Lead cross-domain investigations from pilot capability to production service.
