Grainger Management LLC seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Lake Forest, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus 5 years related experience. Prior experience must include: Architect, build, and maintain front-end and back-end components using technologies such as React, Redux, Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, and AWS cloud features, ensuring code is clean, maintainable, and efficient; Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines, focusing on automating the build, test, and deployment processes to improve software delivery efficiency; Design and implement migration strategies for transitioning from monolithic to microservices architectures, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and create and maintain architectural documentation to record key architectural decisions and justifications, and lead architecture reviews with solution architects to evaluate and refine system architecture; Troubleshoot and resolve issues in large-scale distributed systems by monitoring system health, tracking performance metrics, and identifying problems using tools like Datadog, Splunk and Dynatrace, particularly addressing search functionality and data consistency across multiple services. 100% remote work allowed from anywhere in the U.S.

Compensation: The anticipated base pay range for this position is $148,949.00 to $184,100.00, which reflects the potential base pay at the time of this posting. Base pay will depend on factors such as work location, relevant experience, and skills.
