About the role

  • We’re hiring a Senior Software Engineer (Level I) to lead feature development across our web applications. In this role, you’ll work across the front-end (Angular, React) and back-end (Node.js, MySQL) to ship high-quality, user-facing functionality.
  • This is a great fit if you're a product-focused engineer who loves working across the stack, solving problems holistically, and shipping reliable features in collaboration with product and design.

What you'll do

  • Design, build, and deliver full-stack features from API to UI
  • Contribute across the front-end (Angular, React) and back-end (Node.js, MySQL)
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, and fellow engineers on solutions
  • Write maintainable, well-tested TypeScript code across the stack
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor peers
  • Support application performance, scalability, and functionality

Qualifications

  • Curiosity, empathy, and a passion for our mission and values
  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development
  • Strong skills in TypeScript , Node.js , and modern web frameworks (Angular, React)
  • Proficient with SQL and relational databases like MySQL (can write performant queries and work with existing schemas)
  • Experience designing and consuming REST APIs
  • Comfortable taking a feature from concept to production
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in product-driven teams
  • Familiarity with AWS , CI/CD, and containerization (e.g., Docker)
  • UI/UX sensitivity and ability to work closely with designers
  • Interest in data integrity, observability, and code quality
