Job summary

Senior Software Engineer 1 needed by o9 Solutions, Inc. in Dallas, TX [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may telecommute to Design new features, user interactions, and application components. Work can be in any of the following areas: (1) Back-end/Server (2) front-end (3) Integration (4) Big data (5) AI/ML (6) Algorithms or even a combination of above. Work across multiple layers of the application to convert business requirements and use cases into finished product. Stay abreast of developments in web applications, programming languages, cutting edge software approaches, architectures and vendors. Adapt to these changes by self-training and research work. Ensure that nonfunctional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability are being considered when designing and implementing solutions. Identify and explore new opportunities to leverage new technologies to enhance the o9 Platform. Utilize NET framework, C#, ASP.NET Core or ASP.NET MVC. Run RESTful API development. Develop Microservices. Utilize SQL Server or relational database systems. Operate Cloud platforms (Azure/ AWS/ GCP). Utilize DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines. Use version control systems (Git). Employ Scale-out architectures and big data technologies.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years of experience in a related occupation utilizing NET framework, C#, ASP.NET Core or ASP.NET MVC; running RESTful API development; developing Microservices; utilizing SQL Server or relational database systems; operating Cloud platforms (Azure/ AWS/ GCP); utilizing DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines; using version control systems (Git); and employing Scale-out architectures and big data technologies.
