Vantor is seeking an API/Java/Python Developer to join our Services team, working with U.S. Government customers to sustain and modernize a Program of Record for FMI data.

The role focuses on building high-performance API-driven services and data pipelines in a secure, cloud-ready environment. You will design RESTful APIs, integrate backend components, and collaborate with engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions in an Agile setting.

Qualifikationen

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance with CI poly.
• 2–5 years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Experience developing applications using Java and Python.
• Experience building RESTful APIs, web services, and backend integrations.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases and SQL development.
• Experience with Git, version control systems, and Agile software development methodologies.

Role Overview

We're hiring an API/Java/Python Developer to join our Services team, which works directly with U.S. Government customers to provide a comprehensive set of system/software engineering and information technology services to maintain, sustain, enhance, and improve/modernize a Program of Record for all-source Foundational Military Intelligence (FMI). This position focuses on developing high-performance API-driven services and data-ingest pipelines that drive Analytic Data Organization, Entity Extraction, and Modernized Storage paradigms. A primary focus of this role is writing secure, cloud-ready code optimized for a Develop-Low / Deploy-High (L2H) workflow—utilizing established unclassified enterprise development ecosystems to build and test software that will safely promote across accredited cross-domain solutions into high-side, air-gapped operational networks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Spring Boot, Flask, FastAPI, Django, or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Experience supporting DevSecOps and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and API gateway technologies.
• Security+ certification or familiarity with secure coding and RMF principles.
• Experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, or other federal government programs.

Pay Transparency

• The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $137,000.00 - $182,000.00 - $200,200.00 annually.
