As a Senior Software Engineer, you will build and maintain NationBuilder’s software, serving as a role model for engineers. You will contribute through collaboration, resourcefulness, and writing maintainable code. You’ll think critically about broader contexts, identify optimal solutions, and handle complex features and technical issues while adhering to quality standards for development, testing, and documentation.

The Platform team aims to enable engineers to innovate freely by proactively removing roadblocks. You may be involved in:

1. Innovating and advancing our platform’s backbone
2. Developing creative methods to instrument and monitor key performance metrics
3. Innovating future job patterns for background processing
4. Keeping our Ruby on Rails stack up-to-date through continuous upgrades
