Job summary

Atlas HXM is expanding its development team and seeks a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to shape our Platform Services. You will work across UI and backend services in a fast-paced, agile environment, delivering cloud-native features and scalable architecture.

You will collaborate with product owners, design robust APIs, and contribute to secure, compliant solutions while growing with a global, diverse team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in computer engineering, computer science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud B2B SaaS development with hands-on coding.
• Proficiency in React JS, .NET Core, and REST API design.
• Experience with microservices and cloud-native applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop platform microservices (C#, Asp.Net Core Web API) and UI (React).
• Contribute to core UI architecture and feature development.
• Collaborate with product owners to refine requirements for cloud-native SaaS.
• Participate in security/compliance architecture and reviews.
• Provide technical support and perform proof-of-concept work as needed.

Position Overview

You’ll be joining our innovative product team in building a game-changer SaaS platform that empowers global business and HR professionals to manage and pay their global workforce with state-of-the‑art technology and a unique, simplified User experience.

We are looking to expand our team by hiring a new Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) for our Platform Services portfolio, a team player who is ready to make the role their own and bring their own ideas and innovations to the table. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will be joining our Atlas HXM Development team and shaping new, innovative solution architecture, helping create clean code, and being involved in designing cloud native features and capabilities. You will get the chance to work on all parts of the application with a team of brilliant minded and outcomes driven people

Key Responsibilities

• The Senior Software Engineer is part of an agile scrum team that is composed of cross functional team members with the capability to develop a product end -to-end and the expectation is to collaborate with other Engineers towards the development of platform microservices (C#, Asp.Net Core Web API, SQL, NoSQL) and UI (React Micro frontend/Container).
• Participate in building the core UI architecture, based on latest ReactJs framework and Micro Frontend pattern. Contribute technically through hands‑on feature development, code reviews, technical design documents, debugging operational issues and process streamlining.
• Collaborate with product owners and other business partners to understand and refine requirements that drive innovative cloud native B2B SaaS solution architecture, technology, and tools.
• Participate in architecture/design discussions and contribute towards the end-to-end journey from inception of the baseline architecture to a customer approved product.
• Contribute technically through hands‑on feature development, code reviews, technical design documents, debugging operational issues and process streamlining.
• Provide technical support for the users of the Atlas platform.
• Perform proof‑of‑concept as needed to determine technology solutions.
• Identify open source and commercial solutions for integration.

Define solution API's and integration with third party systems.

• Participate in security and compliance architecture and implementation to ensure solutions comply with corporate and regulatory policies.

About You

• Bachelor's in computer engineering, computer science, or related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of relevant progressive work experience in cloud B2B SaaS solutions development including hands‑on coding, modern software architecture, open source, containers, and security.
• Proficient in front‑end JS frameworks like React JS (Preferred), Angular, Vue.
• Proficient in object-oriented programming languages, experience with .NET Core and C#.
• Knowledge of REST, API Design, API Security Framework, API Management, OpenAPI, Apigee,
• Experience working in microservices architecture, cloud native applications, SOA.
• Understanding of how to design software to support scalability, responsiveness, security and maintainability, and the ability to reason and articulate the design.
• Strong computer science fundamentals, OOAD, SOLID and Design Patterns.
• Familiar with Relational Database Development, Modelling, and Performance Optimization.
• Familiar working in Continuous Deployment Environments, Kubernetes, Docker, Azure DevOps preferred.
• Proven track record of developing complex multi-layer client enterprise architecture.
• Prior experience working TDD.
• Experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Passionate about building software of the highest quality. An open mind to learn new things and the curiosity to understand how things work.
• Experience developing software solutions within HRIS, Payroll, Tax or Payment Process companies is desirable.
