Bachelor or Master of Science in Computer Science or related fields with 5 or more years of industry experience
Moodys’ is looking for software engineers who are excited and passionate about tackling complex challenges in processing large amounts of data within the context of a highly analytical, model-based computation framework. We are looking to solve challenging science and business problems that will have a real-world impact. In the Analytics Engines Team, you will contribute to platform engines which utilize large scale distributed data processing technology to deliver highly scalable, elastic, and cloud-based Saas solutions which perform detailed Risk Analyses.
Our team is responsible for developing backend systems for analyzing risk and performing financial calculations. We contribute to multiple applications on the Risk Analysis platform in contribution to calculating primary and reinsurance losses for our customers. By joining our team, you will be part of exciting work in a remote team across multiple time zones within the US.
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $116,500.00 - $181,800.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
