Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality features.
• Optimise system performance and ensure reliability and security.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to best practices.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and integrate them into existing systems when appropriate.

What You’ll Need

• 5+ years of experience in backend development, preferably in high-growth tech companies.
• Proficiency in OOP programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go (you will be working in Python)
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and containerisation technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of database systems, both SQL and NoSQL.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal; additional languages are a plus.
