Nubank in the United States is seeking a Software Engineer to join our engineering team. You will work on large-scale distributed systems and contribute to building microservices in a fast-moving environment.

We embrace agile methodologies, continuous delivery, and infrastructure as code, running on Kubernetes with Kafka, Datomic, DynamoDB and AWS. You’ll collaborate in small, autonomous teams and impact the product at scale.

• Horizontally scalable microservices written mostly in Clojure, using Finagle and leveraging upon functional programming techniques and hexagonal architecture
• High throughput jobs and inter-service communication using Kafka
• Continuous Integration and Deployment into AWS

• Monitoring and observability with Prometheus
• Running as much as possible in Kubernetes
