Job description
Overview

Sr. Software Engineer AIA Contract Documents (ACD) is the industry standard for architecture and construction contracts, trusted for over 135 years. Our recently launched Catina platform serves as a next-generation foundation that will help unlock new products, enhancing customer value at every stage of the construction lifecycle, and capturing proprietary market data at scale to power smarter decisions across the construction industry. ACD is transforming a new era of product expansion, workflow integration, and intelligent tooling. We see a significant opportunity to broaden our platform’s footprint, harness our proprietary dataset to power next-generation solutions, and deliver lasting impact across the entire built environment lifecycle.

A C D looking for a Senior Software Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, startup-style environment. This person will be a key contributor to building and enhancing our industry leading platform. We’re seeking strong individual contributors (“doers”) who can quickly plug in and deliver high-quality code across the stack. This is not a leadership or architect-level role — it’s for engineers who love solving problems, debugging complex systems, and contributing to product growth.

What You’ll Do
  • Contribute to the design, development, and debugging of a full-stack platform (Angular front end .NET Core back end)
  • Navigate and fix complex, system-wide bugs across microservices and the UI — must demonstrate capability to dig into all levels of the stack and troubleshoot/solve problems
  • Work in a cloud-native environment (Azure preferred; AWS acceptable)
  • Collaborate regularly and closely with international teams, including offshore engineers in India
  • Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation for production support
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers
  • Operate effectively in a distributed team with minimal guidance
Our Tech Environment
  • Frontend: Angular (preferred), React, or Vue
  • Backend: .NET Core with a microservices architecture
  • Databases: MongoDB (primary), with some SQL
  • Tooling: Visual Studio / VS Code, Git
  • Cloud: Azure-native preferred, AWS acceptable
What We’re Looking For
  • 7 years of professional software development experience
  • Strong expertise in .NET Core and microservices
  • Front-end proficiency required — Angular preferred, but React or Vue also acceptable
  • Ability to debug across the full stack independently — no “not-my-code” mindset
  • Startup or fast-paced experience required
  • Comfortable working across time zones and cultures
  • As you will work remotely, must demonstrate natural willingness and ability to communicate “early and often” with your team members to solve problems
Work Hours & Location
  • Fully remote within the U.S. only
  • Distributed team requires collaboration across India and US Eastern time zones
  • Must have valid work authorization and be authorized to work for any employer in the United States. Visa Sponsorship is not provided.
  • Open to all U.S.-based applicants who align with Eastern hours
Benefits And Perks
  • Competitive Salary
  • Company-paid health, dental and vision benefits for employees
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Work-From-Home Stipend
  • Unlimited PTO
