Job summary

Cprime is seeking a seasoned Atlassian Consultant to help clients migrate to Atlassian applications, guiding migrations from 3rd party tools and implementing best practices across cloud environments.

You will lead planning, implementation and post-migration support, collaborate with a Systems Architect, develop data migration tools, and travel up to 40% across the United States to client sites.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Related Field and five (5) years of experience.
• The aforementioned five (5) years of experience must be progressively responsible.
• Requires five (5) years of experience in: Atlassian Cloud, Azure, AWS, Groovy, Python, SQL. Occasional travel of up to 40% to client locations throughout the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Help clients migrate from 3rd party tools to Atlassian applications using best practices.
• Plan and implement Atlassian migrations and troubleshoot post-implementation issues.
• Assess client requirements and current usage of applications.
• Research migration paths and propose migration options.
• Develop and implement infrastructure for new product deployments as needed.
• Collaborate with Systems Architect on configurations.
• Develop custom tools to assist data migration.
• Configure Atlassian Access and external authentication platforms (Azure, AD, LDAP, Okta, OneLogin, Google Workspace).
• Research migration solutions from non-Atlassian platforms (Rally, Zendesk, ServiceNow).
• Execute test and production migrations and adjust processes as needed.
• Troubleshoot issues during implementation.
• Lead transformation workshops and platform trainings.
• Provide post-implementation support and end-user assistance.
• Analyze post-migration environment and report problems and solutions.
• Provide client-facing consultation on functionalities and improvements.
• Execute configuration changes on client requests.
• Travel up to 40% to client locations in the U.S.

Job Duties:

• Help clients improve business systems using the Atlassian suite by helping them migrate from 3rd party tools to Atlassian applications using best practices and recommendations.
• Work with clients in planning for Atlassian migrations, implementing the Atlassian migrations, and troubleshooting post-Atlassian implementation issues.
• Assess the clients current systems by gathering client requirements and assessing the current applications usage.
• Research possible migration paths and make proposals to clients for migrations.
• Consult on, develop and implement infrastructure for new products deployments where it is required for the project.
• Collaborate with a Systems Architect on application and data configurations.
• Develop custom tools and scripts to facilitate data migration processes.
• Consolidate Atlassian applications/environments. Configure Atlassian Access as well as external authentication platforms such as Azure, AD, LDAP, Okta, OneLogin, Google Workspace and other.
• Research migration solutions from non-Atlassian platforms as Rally, Zendesk, ServiceNow and others.
• Execute test and production migrations and make necessary process adjustments.
• Troubleshoot issues that arise during implementation.
• During implementation and post-implementation, lead transformation workshops and new platform trainings.
• Provide post-implementation support by resolving issues that arise.
• Provide support to clients’ end-users by conducting assessments and implementing solutions.
• Conduct an ongoing analysis of the new post-migration environment and compile a report on problems and their possible solutions.
• Provide administrative support to clients by working with project stakeholders to support their day-to-day operations.
• Provide consultation on application functionalities and possible improvements.
• Execute application and platform configuration changes on client requests.
• Occasional travel of up to 40% to client locations throughout the U.S.
