Job Description:

Clearance Needed: Secret

Are you ready for a challenge in military operations? Are you a Software Engineer experienced in creating intuitive, web-based platforms? Imagine working on a critical mission alongside seasoned professionals. Parsons is hiring a Senior Software Engineer with a passion for innovation to support our mission partner in Honolulu, HI.

Specific Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate with a geographically dispersed team and stakeholders to develop, prototype, implement, and refine solutions.
2. Work with front-end and back-end coding languages, frameworks, and third-party libraries.
3. Write clean code, troubleshoot errors, and refactor to improve existing code.
4. Interface with AWS Cloud services and apply cloud engineering practices for deployment and maintenance.
5. Integrate various data sources (APIs, file systems, databases), and develop data pipelines using PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and ElasticSearch.
6. Maintain and develop CI/CD pipelines and perform DevOps tasks.
7. Apply basic Data Science techniques and understand AI/ML development (e.g., RAG, NLP).
8. Ensure data security and efficient access, with familiarity in network architecture and security policies.
9. Document processes and best practices to ensure compliance with data governance standards.

Required Education/Experience:

1. 5+ years relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
2. Experience working in multi-skilled teams on computer science concepts.
3. Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical issues clearly.
4. Valid US Passport and active DoD Secret security clearance.

Preferred Experience:

1. Supporting INDOPACOM or US Army customers.
2. Supporting USINDOPACOM intelligence or operations.
3. Experience with AI/ML concepts, AWS, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and coding languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, React, Next.js, NodeJS, GraphQL, SQL.

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Secret security clearance is required. This role is part of our Federal Solutions team, serving US government missions globally in defense, security, intelligence, infrastructure, and environmental sectors.

Salary Range:

$120,800.00 - $217,400.00
