As a Senior Software Engineer (RQ355), you will be part of the Engineering Enablement organization supporting AI enablement and SDLC transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong engineering judgment, a passion for GenAI technologies, and the ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (RQ355)
Location: Rockville, MD (Hybrid)
Pay Range: $86/hr W2
Collaborate with Enablement, engineers, and customers to identify needs and develop AI-driven SDLC solutions that add measurable value.
Prototype, validate, and iterate AI tool and process integrations as capabilities evolve throughout the year.
Serve as a technical advisor on AI tool selection, implementation patterns, and best practices—bridging emerging AI capabilities with practical SDLC execution.
Develop and maintain instructional materials for multiple training formats, including self-service, instructor‑led sessions, and hands‑on labs.
Facilitate instructor‑led training and technical demonstrations for audiences ranging from small teams to large organizational groups, adapting delivery to the learning objectives.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Strong SDLC expertise, including Agile, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git/version control, testing strategies, and deployment practices.
Hands‑on developer background with coding proficiency and experience integrating AI‑powered development tools into the SDLC (e.g., AWS Kiro cli).
Ability to identify and correct low‑quality AI‑generated content, with strong problem‑solving skills to troubleshoot complex technical challenges.
Confident communication skills, including public speaking, clear documentation, and the ability to influence and collaborate across Enablement and engineering teams without authority.
