Duration: 6+ Months (with potential extension)

Pay Rate: $100–$105/hr on W2

Job Description:

• We are seeking a talented Software Engineer with a strong background in C++ programming and graphics/game development. You will work on innovative projects like RALD and Romulus, contributing to the development and enhancement of graphics and rendering capabilities for next-generation AR/VR and smart glasses platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and debug high-performance software in C++.
• Design and implement features related to graphics, rendering, and game mechanics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on AR/VR projects and custom hardware platforms.
• Work within game engines such as Unity, Unreal Engine, or O3DE.
• Contribute to the graphics pipeline, including asset creation, rendering, shading, lighting, and texturing.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and team discussions.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 4+ years of professional experience in C++ programming.
• Deep understanding of:
• Memory management (pointers, smart pointers, memory allocation)
• Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) – classes, inheritance, polymorphism
• 3+ years in graphics/game development
• Experience with graphics APIs like DirectX, Vulkan, or OpenGL
• Solid knowledge of 3D rendering, lighting, shading, and texturing
• Experience with game engines: Unity, Unreal Engine, or O3DE
• Familiarity with AR/VR development frameworks
• Experience with custom hardware platforms or embedded systems

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Software experience with machine learning (ML)
• Hands-on experience working with prototypes or hardware
• Background in wearables, smart devices, or gaming industry
• Familiarity with console and PC gaming platforms
