Title: Senior Software Engineer

Location: 7 World Trade Center, 250 Greenwich Street, New York, NY 10007 (Principal place of business - telecommuting permitted)

Duties:

• Implement change requests, enhancements, and bug fixes for Moody’s Risk management software solutions and products.
• Maintain and enhance data models, data dictionaries, and data lake transformations.
• Participate in backend and frontend architecture, design, and development of Next Generation SaaS solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, engineers, and support teams to address issues and improve functionalities.
• Integrate products with cloud platform services and assist in cloud transformations and migrations.
• Serve as a technical SME on technologies like C#, .NET Framework, SQL Server, ASP.NET, Python, HTML, AngularJS, Typescript, jQuery, and JavaScript.
• Advise and educate the engineering team on technical data flow, feature implementation, and codebase.
• Assist in deployment and troubleshooting of product installations on various platforms.
• Learn new technologies including GEN AI, Microsoft Azure, and AWS to enhance products and develop new SaaS solutions.

Telecommuting Permitted (100% telecommuting position. Will consider applicants resident in the continental U.S.).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Five (5) years of progressive experience in software development and designing technical solutions.
• Experience with troubleshooting, application design, C#, Python, Relational Databases (MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL), JQuery, JavaScript, HTML/CSS/XML, .NET Framework, ASP.Net, Source Control (TFS, Git, Bitbucket), Visual Studio, Angular, Web Services, Microservices architecture, and database optimization.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated salary range is $179,982 to $186,500/year, depending on experience, education, level, skills, and location. This role is eligible for incentive compensation and benefits including medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, 401(k), insurance, employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
