Job summary

PlaneSense, Inc. is seeking a Senior-level Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, and support mission-critical applications used across flight operations, maintenance, customer support, crew management, and business operations.

You will work across the full tech stack, including web, mobile, API, cloud, and database solutions, collaborating with a small team and stakeholders to deliver reliable software in a fast-paced aviation environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong demonstrable experience with Microsoft .NET, C#, ASP.NET, REST APIs / Web Services, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience developing mobile applications using .NET MAUI, Xamarin, or similar mobile frameworks.
• Hands-on experience deploying and supporting applications in Microsoft Azure.
• Experience publishing and maintaining applications in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and secure coding practices.
• Experience with Git-based source control systems and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience with AI-assisted or agentic AI software development.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Full Stack Application Development

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using Microsoft .NET and C#.
• Build modern, responsive user interfaces using Blazor.
• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, web services, and backend integrations.

• Support production systems and troubleshoot issues when necessary.
• Contribute to engineering standards, best practices, and ongoing modernization initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging platforms.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of authentication and security frameworks such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, Entra ID, or Okta.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Experience working with Atlassian products.
• Understanding of mobile device capabilities, offline synchronization, push notifications, biometrics, and platform-specific features.
