Are you a hands-on software engineer passionate about Java, cloud-native applications, microservices, and payment technologies?

We’re looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer – Platform to join our FinTech Engineering team and help build secure, scalable, high-performance platforms that support high-volume financial transactions.

This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems, designing distributed systems, and working with modern technologies such as Java 21, Spring Boot 3.x, Kubernetes, Docker, cloud platforms, and CI/CD.

Experience with payment tokenization and Mastercard Digital Enablement Service (MDES) is highly valued.

What You'll Do

Software Development & Architecture

• Design, develop, test, and deploy highly scalable Java-based applications and microservices.
• Build RESTful APIs and services using Java 21, Spring Boot 3.x, Hibernate, and related Spring technologies.
• Develop fault-tolerant, low-latency systems capable of supporting high transaction volumes.
• Participate in architecture and technical design decisions.
• Conduct code reviews and promote clean, maintainable, and secure coding practices.
• Troubleshoot complex application issues and drive performance improvements.
• Design and deploy microservices across Azure, AWS, or GCP environments.
• Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate workloads using Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related tools.
• Support production monitoring, logging, scalability, and reliability.
• Promote automation and DevOps best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Develop secure applications supporting financial transactions and payment ecosystems.
• Contribute to payment tokenization solutions and integrations.
• Work with Mastercard Digital Enablement Service (MDES) APIs and integration patterns.
• Support payment-token lifecycle management and secure credential provisioning.
• Apply security best practices around authentication, authorization, encryption, keys, and certificates.
• Help ensure solutions meet applicable standards such as PCI DSS and EMVCo.
• Design and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases for high-volume workloads.
• Tune queries and database performance for reliable financial transactions.
• Work with messaging and distributed processing technologies such as Kafka and Hadoop.
• Partner with Product Managers, Program Managers, architects, and business stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Share knowledge and help raise engineering standards across the team.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong experience with Java 21 and Spring Framework / Spring Boot 3.x.
