Our client is building a dedicated AI Technology Transformation Team focused on modernizing enterprise applications, accelerating software delivery, and driving strategic technology initiatives across a diverse software portfolio.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to help transform legacy applications through cloud modernization, large-scale refactoring, AI-assisted development, service modernization, and TypeScript-based engineering initiatives. Rather than focusing solely on new feature development, this role centers on improving existing systems, increasing engineering productivity, and establishing scalable modernization practices across the organization.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will collaborate with Engineering Leadership, Enterprise Architecture, and Technology Transformation teams to execute high-impact modernization projects. The Senior Software Engineer will serve as a hands-on individual contributor, leveraging AI-driven engineering tools and modern software practices to improve application quality, delivery speed, and long-term maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute enterprise application modernization and transformation initiatives
• Design, develop, and enhance cloud-native applications, services, and software components
• Participate in large-scale refactoring, migration, and modernization projects

Requirements

• 5-10 years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience working within enterprise software environments
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and coding ability
• Experience supporting complex software applications and codebases
• Exposure to modernization, refactoring, or migration initiatives
• Experience with cloud-native application development
• Hands-on development experience within AWS, Azure, or similar cloud platforms
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Additional Information

This is a hybrid role, working remotely Monday and Friday, and onsite Tuesday-Thursday.

This position offers an annual salary of $110,000-$123,300, based on experience, along with eligibility for a performance-based bonus. Our client also provides a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employee health, financial wellness, and work-life balance.
