Position: Research & Explore Potential Modifications to Red Hat Products

Location: U.S. Remote (Telecommuting role, anywhere in the U.S.)

Job Responsibilities:

• Research and explore potential modifications to Red Hat products to improve performance and reliability.
• Develop new software systems to integrate projects and software into Red Hat products.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, with 5 years of software engineering experience OR
• Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, with 3 years of software engineering experience.

Required Experience:

• 2 years' experience with high-level programming languages, public cloud platforms, Linux/Unix systems, REST APIs & microservices, version control systems, disaster recovery systems, and collaborative software development lifecycle.
• 1 year of experience with Kubernetes and open-source software development.
