Job summary

Stepful, Inc. is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our US team and help build an advanced Learning Management System with adaptive learning, engaging UX, and AI-assisted features for career services.

You will own the full development lifecycle across front- and back-end stacks, collaborating with cross-functional teams to iterate on product experiences that improve outcomes for learners and partners.

• 6+ years of full-stack engineering experience.
• Proficiency in React, Typescript, Ruby on Rails, and PostgreSQL.

This job is for you if you have:

• 6+ years of full-stack engineering experience

• Eat, sleep and breathe at least one of part of our stack (React, Typescript, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL), you will learn the rest

• Relentlessly obsess over solving complex problems with cutting-edge technology and willing to learn something new every day

• Find excitement in joining an early-stage company and are not afraid of building something new

• Are strongly driven to make an impact in people's lives

• Have built something meaningful to you, before

• Can take ownership of the whole development lifecycle (this means you are comfortable operating full-stack)

Bonus points if:

• You have previous experience in a direct-to-consumer startup, especially within EdTech/Healthcare

Interview Process:

Step 1: Intro call with Talent Acquisition

Step 2: Non-technical interview with Hiring Manager

Step 3: Fullstack live coding (remote)

Step 4: Onsite interview with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Compensation:

New Hire Base Salary Bands:
Engineer I - $127,000-$161,000
Engineer II - $142,000-$180,000
Senior I - $157,000-$198,000
Senior II - $172,000-$218,000
Staff I - $188,000-$238,000

Please note we do not have a bonus structure at this time so all cash compensation will come in the form of base salary. The total compensation package will also include our benefits package and an equity (ISOs) package.

Compensation for this role will fall within the pay range listed and will be determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications as well as interview evaluation. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
